The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is recruiting a Higher Executive Officer – ICT Security Lead to guide security strategy and strengthen ICT protections across the organisation. Based in Dublin, this senior role offers the opportunity to influence nationwide cybersecurity standards while overseeing complex ICT projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead information security operations across the HSA
• Act as the primary internal specialist on ICT security and risk
• Develop and implement security policies, controls, and procedures
• Coordinate cyber incident management and response
• Manage complex, multi-disciplinary ICT projects
• Oversee system security reviews, risk assessments, and compliance checks
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure best-practice practices
• Support the delivery and optimisation of ICT services across the Authority
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Degree in ICT, cybersecurity, computer science or a related discipline
• Significant experience in ICT operations, information security or technical project management
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity standards, protocols and regulatory requirements
• Experience developing ICT policies, controls, and governance frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to lead projects and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are desirable
