University Hospital Limerick is seeking a motivated Grade VII Quality Improvement Development Manager to advance service quality, patient experience, and operational performance across the HSE Mid West region. This permanent wholetime role offers an opportunity to lead transformative change in a high-impact acute hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of quality improvement (QI) initiatives across designated services
• Support clinical and non-clinical teams to embed continuous improvement methodologies
• Analyse performance data, identify trends and present actionable insights to senior management
• Coordinate audits, compliance activities and quality assurance processes
• Contribute to policy development, service planning and accreditation requirements
• Manage projects, reporting timelines, and stakeholder communications
• Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff and cross-functional workstreams

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in healthcare, management, quality, or related discipline
• Proven experience in quality improvement, service development or healthcare operations
• Strong knowledge of QI frameworks (LEAN, PDSA, Six Sigma or equivalent)
• Excellent analytical, communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to lead change, influence stakeholders and manage complex programmes
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities
• Experience working within the HSE or acute healthcare settings is an advantage

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• HSE Grade VII (0582) salary scale applies (per national consolidated pay scales)
• Permanent, wholetime contract
