The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) for the Dublin North region. This senior consultant-level role (RECC254398) offers the opportunity to shape digital health strategy and deliver technology-enabled care transformation across one of Ireland’s busiest regions. This is a Specified Purpose Wholetime contract.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead major digital health and medical informatics programmes across HSE Dublin North
• Drive technology-enabled change with a focus on improving patient care and clinical workflows
• Provide senior clinical leadership in the design, delivery, and governance of digital solutions
• Manage the clinical impact of digital implementations across acute, community, and regional services
• Collaborate with national and regional stakeholders to support integrated care initiatives
• Champion evidence-based digital transformation and clinical safety in system deployment
• Represent the region at senior HSE forums relating to digital health strategy and operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Significant medical informatics or digital health experience
• Demonstrated leadership in major or national technology-enabled change programmes
• Proven ability to manage clinical, operational, and patient-care impacts during digital transformation
• Strong strategic, communication, and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
• Eligibility for Consultant Unclassified 101T grade
• Access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
