Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee clinical governance across Louth Meath Mental Health Services
• Ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based psychiatric service delivery
• Support regional mental health planning, reform, and service improvement
• Provide senior decision-making and consultant-level leadership
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, hospital groups, and community partners
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies, clinical standards, and national frameworks
• Represent the service at regional and national forums as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered specialist in Psychiatry with the Irish Medical Council
• Consultant-level experience with demonstrated leadership in mental health
• Extensive understanding of mental health legislation, policy, and governance
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare setting
• Strong strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
