University Hospital Kerry is seeking a Dietitian Manager to lead and develop its clinical nutrition and dietetics service. This permanent, whole-time opportunity offers a senior leadership role within the Health Service Executive (HSE) South West region. The successful candidate will oversee service delivery, workforce planning and clinical governance within a busy acute hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage and support the dietetics team at University Hospital Kerry
• Oversee high-quality clinical nutrition assessment, intervention and monitoring
• Drive service improvement initiatives in line with HSE clinical governance standards
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engagement across acute and community settings
• Ensure compliance with national policies, evidence-based practice and statutory requirements
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and workforce planning
• Provide specialist clinical expertise in complex patient cases
• Support education, supervision and professional development for staff and students
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Dietetics eligible for CORU registration
• Significant post-qualification experience, including senior or supervisory experience
• Proven ability to manage a clinical team in an acute hospital setting
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and patient-centred care
• Experience managing service delivery, audits and clinical governance processes
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
