Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the Medical Day Unit
• Support day-case treatments, procedures, and clinical interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient flow
• Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold HSE care standards
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and infection prevention practices
• Provide compassionate communication and education to patients and families
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI registration
• Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience (desirable)
• Essential: Acute hospital experience within the last 24 months (by 11 December 2025)
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to work independently in a fast-paced unit
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary (Staff Nurse – Grade 2135, effective 1 August 2025):
€37,288 – €55,477 (LSI)
