HSE Dublin & South East is seeking an experienced eHealth Digital General Manager to lead innovation and digital transformation across its regional sites. This senior leadership role spans Wicklow, Wexford, Waterford, Kilkenny, Tipperary, Carlow, and South Dublin, with the successful candidate based on one of the main regional locations. This is a Specified Purpose whole-time contract.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead eHealth and digital transformation strategy across the Dublin & South East region
• Manage digital operations, programme delivery, and ICT initiatives
• Oversee multidisciplinary digital teams and ensure alignment with HSE strategic objectives
• Drive improvements in digital service quality, efficiency, and interoperability
• Engage with regional stakeholders to deliver scalable digital solutions
• Ensure compliance with HSE governance, risk, and data protection requirements
• Report on KPIs, project performance, and regional digital capability development
• Support organisational change and develop a high-performing digital culture
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven senior leadership experience in digital, ICT, or eHealth programmes
• Strong strategic planning, operational management, and transformation capability
• Expertise in digital health systems, interoperability, and change management
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
• Ability to lead multiple projects across a large and diverse region
• Access to appropriate transport to fulfil regional duties
• Flexibility in working hours to meet critical deadlines
