Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join its Rheumatology Outpatient Service. This permanent, whole-time post offers the opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality patient care within a multidisciplinary specialty team. The role supports both service development and advanced clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and interventions for rheumatology patients in an outpatient setting.
• Manage a defined caseload with autonomy while prioritising patient safety and best practice.
• Collaborate with consultants, nursing, and wider multidisciplinary colleagues to optimise patient outcomes.
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical pathways.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and support to junior physiotherapists and students.
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation and ensure adherence to HSE governance and professional standards.
• Participate in audit, research, and continuous professional development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist (essential).
• Minimum three years post-qualification experience, with demonstrable rheumatology or musculoskeletal expertise.
• Evidence of ability to manage complex caseloads independently.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
• Experience supervising students or junior staff is an advantage.

Salary Scale (1 August 2025):
€63,912 – €65,275 – €66,681 – €68,073 – €69,467 – €70,933 – €72,478 – €74,018 – €75,254
