This is a senior clinical opportunity for an experienced Dietitian Clinical Specialist to join the Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team covering Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. Working 0.5 WTE on a permanent basis, you will provide expert neuro-rehabilitative nutritional care and contribute to ongoing service development within the HSE West and North West region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist neuro-rehabilitation dietetic assessment and intervention
• Provide advanced clinical decision-making and patient-centred nutritional management
• Lead quality improvement and service development initiatives
• Work collaboratively with MDT colleagues across Galway, Mayo and Roscommon
• Support training, education and clinical governance within the service
• Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based dietetic pathways

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Dietitian
• Depth and breadth of experience working in a neuro-rehabilitation setting
• Post-graduate neuro-rehabilitation training/education (desirable)
• Proven expertise in service development and quality improvement
• Strong communication, clinical leadership and multidisciplinary teamwork skills

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary: As per HSE Dietitian – Clinical Specialist scale (3715)
• Contract: Permanent part-time (0.5 WTE)

• Hours: Part-time schedule aligned with service needs across the region
