This General Manager (Grade 0041) position offers a senior leadership opportunity within HSE Mid West, based in Limerick. The role supports the Office of the Regional Executive Officer and is open only to eligible internal applicants from the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage regional operational functions within the Office of the Regional Executive Officer
• Support strategic planning, performance delivery and resource allocation across the Mid West region
• Oversee governance, reporting and compliance activities
• Drive continuous service improvement and regional integration initiatives
• Liaise with senior management, clinical leaders, and external stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with national HSE policies and service plans
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Eligibility restricted to staff of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies
• Significant management experience within a complex healthcare or public-sector environment
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage regional operations
• Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage change and deliver strategic outcomes

• Salary in line with HSE Consolidated Pay Scales (effective 1 August 2025)
