A new opportunity has opened for a Dental Surgeon Senior Administrative within Sligo/Leitrim Dental Services, part of the Health Service Executive (HSE). This permanent whole-time post offers a senior leadership pathway supporting public dental service delivery across Sligo and Leitrim.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and oversee public dental service delivery within Sligo/Leitrim Dental Services
• Manage service planning, operational effectiveness and clinical governance
• Provide senior clinical leadership and expert consultation across multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure high standards of patient care and compliance with HSE policies
• Collaborate with regional dental teams, community partners and healthcare management
• Contribute to oral health strategies and service improvement initiatives
• Support staff development, training and supervision where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Dental Surgeon with the Dental Council of Ireland
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in public health or hospital dentistry
• Proven experience in healthcare management or administrative leadership roles
• Strong understanding of HSE structures, policies and service delivery standards
• Excellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills
• Ability to lead teams and manage complex caseloads and service priorities

• Salary aligned with Dental Surgeon Senior Administrative (Grade 1619) under HSE consolidated pay scales
