Key Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological conditions
• Support clinical pathways, patient assessment, and care planning within the Neurology Service
• Collaborate with consultants, MDT colleagues, and community teams to coordinate care
• Participate in service improvements, audits, and evidence-based practice initiatives
• Provide patient education and support to individuals and families
• Contribute to quality assurance, research, and clinical governance activities
• Engage in ongoing professional development aligned with the CNS Candidate framework
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse (NMBI) with active PIN
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of nursing/midwifery experience in Neurology or related specialist area
• Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to neurology or specialist practice
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work autonomously within a structured CNS Candidate development programme
• Commitment to high-quality patient care, continuous improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration
