We are inviting applications for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Limerick role specialising in Clinical Trials – Respiratory within the HSE Mid West. This is a permanent part-time leadership opportunity supporting high-quality research and patient care across respiratory services in Limerick.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate respiratory clinical trials at service level
• Manage and support nursing staff involved in clinical research
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, GCP, and HSE policies
• Coordinate patient recruitment, follow-up, and data collection
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, sponsors, and investigators
• Promote continuous quality improvement and evidence-based practice

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on the NMBI register
• Relevant post-registration qualification (desirable)
• Significant clinical experience in respiratory care and/or research
• Proven leadership and people-management experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical trials governance and documentation
• Excellent communication, organisational, and audit skills

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary: €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (Clinical Nurse Manager 2 scale, pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, part-time
Benefits: Public sector pension, annual leave, sick leave, incremental pay progression
Working hours: Part-time hours in line with service requirements
