🔍 Job Overview
The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and South East is recruiting Social Care Workers to join Residential Disability Services across the South East region. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support individuals with disabilities to live full, independent, and person-centred lives within residential and community settings.
Vacancies currently exist within Damien House Regional Services (DHRS), including Leeside, Tullamaine, and Callan, Co. Kilkenny, with a supplementary panel being formed for future posts across the region.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred social care in residential disability services
• Support service users with daily living, personal development, and social inclusion
• Implement individual care and support plans in line with best practice
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice for service users
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate records and comply with HSE policies and procedures
• Participate in shift work as required within residential settings
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Social Care (QQI Level 7/8 or equivalent)
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register) as a Social Care Worker
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of relevant social care experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding practices
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary in line with HSE Social Care Worker (Grade 3029) consolidated pay scales
