An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Practice Development Coordinator Kerry within Adult Mental Health Services in HSE South West. This senior leadership role focuses on advancing evidence-based nursing practice, professional development, and quality improvement across Kerry Mental Health Services.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate nursing practice development initiatives across Adult Mental Health Services
• Promote evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and quality improvement
• Support professional development, education, and mentorship of nursing staff
• Collaborate with Area Directors of Nursing and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to policy development, audits, and service evaluation
• Support implementation of national mental health strategies and HSE priorities
• Facilitate change management and innovation in clinical practice
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration on the NMBI Register (Nurse or Midwife)
• Relevant postgraduate qualification at Level 9 or higher (essential/desirable as per Job Spec)
• Significant post-registration experience in Adult Mental Health Nursing
• Demonstrated experience in practice development, education, or quality improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and change-management skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary Scale: Nursing / Midwifery Practice Development Co-ordinator (Grade 2445)
- €71,408 – €88,123 per annum (pro-rata, subject to increments and public sector pay agreements)
• Working Hours: Wholetime
