Job Overview
The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and North East is seeking an experienced Orthodontics Specialist to join its Primary Care services across Meath and Louth. This is a permanent, part-time specialist role offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality orthodontic care within a multidisciplinary public health setting.
This Orthodontics Specialist role with the HSE Dublin and North East provides clinical autonomy, structured support, and the security of a public service career.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist orthodontic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
• Deliver high-quality orthodontic care in line with HSE clinical guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team collaboration within Primary Care services
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Specialist qualification in Orthodontics
• Registration on the Specialist Division of the Dental Council of Ireland
• Demonstrated experience in orthodontic clinical practice
• Strong communication and patient management skills
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations
• Access to appropriate transport to meet service requirements
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: €178,099 per annum (pro-rata), in line with Specialist in Orthodontics Grade 1465 (effective 1 August 2025)
• Permanent, part-time public service contract
