Wexford General Hospital is inviting applications for a Staff Nurse (General) as part of a Supplementary Campaign within the HSE Dublin and South East region. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in an acute hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in line with professional standards
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures and infection control standards
• Support patients and families with compassionate, person-centred care
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and service development
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Active registration on the Nursing Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum of 1 year’s post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in acute nursing practice
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
