This Data Analyst Grade VII role within the Medicines Management Programme, Primary Care Reimbursement Service (PCRS) offers an excellent opportunity to influence national healthcare decision-making through high-quality data analysis. Key Responsibilities
• Analyse large healthcare and reimbursement datasets to support medicines management initiatives
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs for senior stakeholders
• Support policy development through data-driven insights and trend analysis
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with GDPR and HSE standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical, pharmacy, and ICT teams
• Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable information
• Contribute to continuous improvement and service innovation initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification in Data Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, or a related discipline
• Demonstrable experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation
• Strong proficiency in data tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, BI tools, statistical software)
• Experience working with large or complex datasets
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skills
• Knowledge of healthcare data systems is highly desirable
