University Hospital Waterford is currently seeking a General Operative / Oibrí Ginearálta to join its Technical Services and General Support teams. This permanent, whole-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient hospital environment that supports patient care and clinical services.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
• Carry out general maintenance, porterage, and support duties across the hospital
• Assist technical and facilities teams as required
• Ensure work areas are maintained to health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Support clinical and non-clinical departments with day-to-day operational needs
• Use equipment and tools safely and correctly
• Follow HSE policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
• Respond flexibly to service demands within a busy hospital environment

• Previous experience in a general operative, facilities, or support role (desirable)

• Salary: In line with HSE General Operative Grade 5487 pay scale (on application)
