Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking an experienced Person in Charge to provide strong clinical and operational leadership within disability services in Ennis, Co. Clare. This is a senior management role with responsibility for ensuring high-quality, person-centred supports that meet regulatory and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as Person in Charge in line with HIQA regulations and organisational policies
• Provide leadership, governance, and operational oversight of designated services
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred supports
• Manage staffing, rosters, supervision, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements
• Oversee budgets, resources, and service development initiatives
• Promote continuous quality improvement and best practice
• Liaise with families, stakeholders, and external agencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• QQI Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Work, Nursing, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management/supervisory role within health or social care
• Demonstrated knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities (desirable)
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary: In line with Social Care Manager 1 (Grade 3371) public sector pay scales (Section 38)
