An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join the multidisciplinary teams at Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. This permanent wholetime role supports high-quality patient care across a range of clinical areas, including Emergency Department, Endoscopy, and Medical/Surgical services. A panel may be formed to fill current and future full-time or part-time posts.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist nursing and clinical staff in delivering person-centred care
• Support patients with activities of daily living
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic care environment
• Observe, record, and report patient conditions appropriately
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and infection control standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) Healthcare Support qualification
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting (acute hospital desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with HSE Health Care Assistant (Grade 6075) pay scales
• Permanent wholetime hours (shift-based, including nights/weekends as required)
