Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Specialist Dietitian to join the Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) within HSE Dublin and Midlands. This role is ideal for a specialist clinician with strong neuro-rehabilitation expertise who is passionate about service development, quality improvement, and delivering high-quality community-based care.
This Clinical Specialist Dietitian Dublin role offers autonomy, professional leadership, and the opportunity to influence neuro-rehabilitation services across a diverse community setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist dietetic assessment, intervention, and management for adults with complex neurological conditions
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team
• Lead and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide specialist clinical advice and education to colleagues and stakeholders
• Support evidence-based practice and clinical governance within neuro-rehabilitation
• Participate in audit, research, and service evaluation activities
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting in line with HSE standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Dietitian
• Significant post-qualification experience in neuro-rehabilitation or specialist neurological services
• Evidence of postgraduate training/education in neuro-rehabilitation (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience in service development or quality improvement initiatives
• Strong clinical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Access to appropriate transport to meet the requirements of a community-based role
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales for Dietitian Clinical Specialist (Grade 3715), effective from 1 August 2025
• Working Pattern: Permanent part-time hours
