Job Overview
The HSE West and North West region is inviting applications for a Senior Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary services across Sligo and Leitrim. This is a permanent, wholetime opportunity offering professional autonomy, leadership responsibility, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes within public healthcare.
A panel may be formed to fill permanent and specified-purpose vacancies, on a full-time or part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment across assigned services
• Provide senior clinical leadership and professional supervision to junior staff
• Participate in multidisciplinary team planning and service development
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and outcome measures
• Support quality improvement, audit, and evidence-based practice
• Engage in service planning aligned with HSE clinical governance frameworks
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
• Recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of post-qualification clinical experience
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
