HSE West and North West is currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Staff Nurse – Mental Health. This recruitment campaign aims to fill current and future vacancies in Sligo, Leitrim, and Donegal.
Table of Contents
Successful applicants will join a professional team providing critical mental health services across the North-West region. A panel may be formed from this campaign to fill both permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €38,023 – €55,826 (As per August 2025 Consolidated Pay Scales).
- Contract Types: Permanent Wholetime, Permanent Part-time, Specified Purpose Wholetime, and Specified Purpose Part-time options are available.
- Pension: HSE employees benefit from public service pension schemes.
Requirements
- Experience: Candidates must demonstrate a significant depth and breadth of experience in the area of mental health relevant to the post.
- Registration: Applicants must hold or be eligible for registration as a Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
