The Health Service Executive (HSE) is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Specialist (Mental Health) for a permanent, wholetime position based in Dublin North. This pivotal role within the Dublin and North East health region focuses on delivering high-quality community mental health services. Role Responsibilities
- Provide specialist nursing knowledge and clinical expertise in mental health within a community setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
- Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Act as a clinical resource and educator for staff, students, and the wider community.
Essential Requirements
- Must be registered in the Psychiatric Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland).
- Extensive experience at a senior level in mental health nursing as required for Clinical Nurse Specialist grade.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a community environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and clinical decision-making skills.
