An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst (Grade VI) to join the National Care Experience Programme (NCEP), based at Dr Steevens’ Hospital, Dublin. This permanent whole-time post plays a key role in supporting national patient experience measurement, reporting, and insight generation across the health service.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will coordinate the collection, management, analysis, and reporting of patient experience survey data from multiple sources to inform decision-making and service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Operations Manager with coordination of national patient experience surveys
• Manage and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with data protection standards
• Produce regular and ad-hoc analytical reports for management and stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators
• Support evidence-based decision-making across the programme
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners regarding data requirements
• Assist with continuous improvement of survey processes and reporting methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Permanent appointment at Grade VI within the HSE (confined competition)
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and interpretation
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary will be paid in accordance with the HSE Grade VI (0574) consolidated salary scale, as approved under public sector pay policy, including adjustments effective from 1 August 2025 .
Benefits include public service pension, annual leave entitlement, and access to learning and development supports.
