Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown is seeking a Radiography Assistant (Sainchabhraí Radagrafaíochta) to join its Radiology Department on a permanent whole-time basis. This role supports Radiographers, Sonographers, and Radiologists in delivering a safe, efficient, and patient-focused imaging service under the supervision of the Radiography Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist Radiographers, Sonographers, and Radiologists with day-to-day patient care
• Support the smooth operation of the Radiology Department
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures in a caring and professional manner
• Assist with patient movement and positioning as required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment
• Follow all HSE policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
• Deliver a high standard of patient-focused support under supervision
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in patient care or a healthcare support role is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and safety standards
• Flexibility and reliability in a clinical environment
• Willingness to work under supervision and follow clinical direction
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Radiography Aide 6525
• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales (August 2025)
• Contract: Permanent Wholetime
