Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking an experienced Sector Manager – Disability Services to lead adult services across the Galway West Sector. This senior leadership role carries responsibility for strategic planning, operational delivery, and quality assurance across a range of disability supports. The position is offered on a permanent, whole-time basis and is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for adult disability services within the Galway West Sector
• Ensure services are delivered in line with national disability policy, HIQA standards, and organisational values
• Lead and support multidisciplinary management teams to achieve high-quality, person-centred outcomes
• Manage budgets, resources, and workforce planning within agreed governance frameworks
• Drive service development, innovation, and continuous quality improvement
• Build and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, staff, HSE, and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and safeguarding requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification at Level 8 or higher (NFQ) in health, social care, management, or a related discipline
• Significant senior management experience within disability, health, or social care services
• Demonstrated leadership in managing complex services and large multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of Irish disability policy, regulatory frameworks, and best practice standards
• Excellent strategic planning, financial management, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence and access to transport
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Grade VIII (0655)
• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales (August 2025) for Grade VIII
• Contract Type: Permanent, Whole-Time
