The Health Service Executive is recruiting Health & Social Care Assistants to join Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) across Dublin South and the Midlands. These permanent whole-time roles support children with complex needs and their families as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team delivering family-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support therapists in delivering intervention programmes to children with disabilities
• Assist with preparation and implementation of therapy plans under supervision
• Work directly with children and families in clinical and community settings
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service planning
• Promote inclusion, independence, and participation for children
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and child safeguarding standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 (or equivalent) in Healthcare Support, Social Care, or relevant discipline
• Experience working with children and/or individuals with disabilities is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow care plans and work under professional supervision
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with HSE consolidated pay scales for Grade 6019 (effective 1 August 2025)
• Permanent whole-time contract (35 hours per week)

Location & Employer Information

There are current vacancies in Dublin South West (Chamber House, Tallaght) and Clonbrusk Resource Centre, Athlone. A panel may be formed for Dublin and the Midlands to fill future permanent and specified purpose posts across Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, Dublin South, and Wicklow. The HSE Dublin and Midlands provides community-based health and social care services across the region.
