Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT6) in Galway. This role focuses on delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to children with intellectual disabilities, supporting their development, mobility, and participation in daily life.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessments and interventions for children with intellectual disabilities
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Team
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans in partnership with families and carers
• Provide clinical leadership and support to junior staff and students as required
• Contribute to service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
• Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, including relevant senior-level practice
• Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE Consolidated Salary Scales for Senior Physiotherapist (HSCP Grade)
• Contract: Permanent part-time
