Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a committed Day Support Facilitator to join its services in Ennis, Co. Clare. This part-time, specified purpose role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred day supports for adults with intellectual disabilities, enabling meaningful participation, skill development, and community inclusion.

This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is advertised by the HSE on behalf of a publicly funded Section 38 organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging, person-centred day support programmes aligned with individual support plans
• Promote independence, choice, and community inclusion for service users
• Support individuals in developing life skills, vocational abilities, and social participation
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and planning processes
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and advocates
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, policies, and safeguarding procedures
• Support health, safety, and wellbeing within the day service environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Relevant QQI Level 6 qualification (or equivalent) in healthcare, social care, education, or related field
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a day or community setting
• Strong communication, organisational, and facilitation skills
• Understanding of person-centred planning and rights-based approaches
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Full clean driving licence desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with Workshop Supervisor / Instructor Grade 6425 consolidated public sector pay scales (1 August 2025 rates apply)
• Part-time hours on a specified purpose contract
