Clayton Hotel Sligo is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to join its senior leadership team. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for the day-to-day operational performance of the hotel, alongside full oversight of Meetings, Events, Conference and Banqueting.

Reporting to the General Manager and Deputy General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping team culture, delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting the hotel’s strategic and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic operational support to the General Manager
• Lead, guide and develop Heads of Department
• Take full responsibility for Meetings, Events, Conference and Banqueting operations
• Oversee event planning, coordination, service delivery and post-event reviews
• Ensure consistently high standards of customer care and guest satisfaction
• Drive staff engagement, motivation and performance
• Lead succession planning and staff development initiatives
• Support profitability, cost control and operational efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2–3 years’ experience in a hotel operations management role
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Experience managing multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commercial awareness and operational focus
• Excellent attention to detail and guest-first mindset
• Confident, proactive and ambitious leadership style
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
