Role Overview
Successful candidates will join a client facility in Dublin, delivering person-centred care to elderly residents to the highest possible standard. You will lead a team of Healthcare Assistants on each shift and play a central role in maintaining the quality, dignity, and safety of resident care across a Monday to Sunday roster, including night duty.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated residents
- Maintain high standards in care of the elderly at all times
- Lead Healthcare Assistants in delivering high-quality direct and indirect care
- Build trusting relationships with residents, understanding and responding to their individual needs
- Assess resident care needs and, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
- Contribute to a dynamic team environment where personal development is actively encouraged
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with all regulatory requirements
- Work a rostered schedule Monday to Sunday, including night duty
Requirements
- Current registration with An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann (NMBI) is essential
- Minimum 6 months post-graduate experience in elderly care is preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Committed to a person-centred approach in all aspects of patient care
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Working knowledge of HIQA Regulations and Standards
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland
Salary
€40,000 – €55,000 per annum, based on experience and place of work. Full-time permanent contract.
