Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Day Support Facilitator to join its Kilrush services. This role supports adults with intellectual disabilities through person-centred day services, promoting independence, inclusion, and meaningful community participation.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and facilitate high-quality day support programmes aligned with individual support plans
• Promote choice, independence, and social inclusion for service users
• Supervise and support staff within day service settings
• Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
• Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners
• Support programme development, evaluation, and continuous improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care, Disability Studies, or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in intellectual disability or social care services
• Experience in a supervisory or senior support role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of person-centred planning and rights-based approaches
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance

• Salary in line with Workshop Supervisor / Instructor – Senior (6402) consolidated pay scale (Section 38)
