The Health Service Executive is seeking a Chief Audiologist (Éisteolaí, Ceannaire) to lead and manage Audiology services across Dublin North County and Dublin North City & West. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape high-quality, patient-centred audiology services within a dynamic regional structure.
This is a specified purpose whole-time position ideal for an experienced Audiologist ready to take strategic and operational responsibility at regional level.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership and governance for Audiology services across the Integrated Health Areas
• Manage clinical standards, service delivery, and quality assurance frameworks
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and support professional development
• Ensure compliance with national policies, HSE guidelines, and regulatory standards
• Oversee workforce planning, service planning, and performance management
• Contribute to regional service improvement initiatives and innovation projects
• Engage with stakeholders to enhance patient-centred care delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Audiology
• Registration with CORU (or eligibility for registration)
• Significant post-qualification clinical experience in Audiology
• Demonstrated leadership and service management experience
• Strong understanding of HSE governance, policy, and service frameworks
• Excellent communication, organisational, and strategic planning skills

Salary is aligned with the HSE Audiologist – Chief (Grade 345X) consolidated pay scale, in accordance with Department of Health Circular 6/2025 and Public Service Agreement 2024–2026 adjustments
