The General Manager Planning and Performance Dublin role is a senior leadership opportunity within the Health Service Executive in the Dublin and North East region. This permanent wholetime position plays a critical strategic role in delivering regional performance, service planning, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional planning and performance functions across HSE Dublin and North East
- Drive strategic service planning aligned with national healthcare objectives
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, KPIs, and service delivery outcomes
- Ensure compliance with governance, financial, and regulatory frameworks
- Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively
- Collaborate with senior clinical and operational leaders across the region
- Provide leadership during service reform and organisational change initiatives
- Represent the region in national planning and performance forums
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant senior management experience in healthcare or a large complex organisation
- Strong strategic planning and performance management background
- Proven financial management and governance expertise
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Access to appropriate transport (frequent regional travel required)
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet operational deadlines
