The Grade VII Clinical Audit and Quality Facilitator role in Cavan offers an excellent opportunity to lead and support quality improvement initiatives within HSE Dublin and North East. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical audit programmes.
- Facilitate quality improvement initiatives aligned with national and regional standards.
- Provide expert guidance on clinical governance and patient safety frameworks.
- Analyse audit data and prepare detailed performance reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive service improvement.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
- Support staff training and education relating to audit and quality improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in healthcare, management, quality improvement or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical audit, quality assurance or patient safety.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Knowledge of HSE governance frameworks and healthcare regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
This position is aligned with the HSE Grade VII (0582) salary scale under the August 2025 consolidated public sector pay scales :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}.
Salary will be in accordance with public sector pay policy and relevant HSE circulars. The role is permanent part-time, with working hours determined in line with service requirements.
