The Digital Health Project Manager Dublin role offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful ICT and digital transformation initiatives within the public healthcare system. Working across HSE Dublin and North East, you will manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects that improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
This permanent Grade VII position is ideal for experienced project managers with a strong background in healthcare ICT environments and digital change implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital health and ICT-enabled transformation projects.
- Develop comprehensive project proposals, business cases, and implementation plans.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through transition to operational service.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while optimising available resources.
- Engage and collaborate with clinical, operational, and ICT stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones, budgets, risks, and performance metrics.
- Ensure governance, compliance, and reporting standards are maintained.
- Support digital change initiatives aligned with regional healthcare priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience delivering ICT services or technology-enabled transformation in a complex healthcare environment.
- Proven project management experience in a multi-stakeholder healthcare organisation.
- Experience in proposal development, implementation, and transition to ongoing operations.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- In-depth knowledge of the Irish healthcare system and the Dublin North East Region.
- Understanding of digital and ICT-enabled change within healthcare services.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the HSE Grade VII (0582) salary scale in accordance with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) .
