Job Overview
The HSE is seeking applications for the role of Staff Nurse General Community Dublin North within Primary Care Services across the Integrated Health Areas of Louth, Meath, Dublin North County, and Dublin North City & West. This permanent wholetime position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality nursing care within community settings, supporting individuals and families across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in community settings in line with HSE standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care programmes.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary primary care teams.
- Promote health, wellbeing, and disease prevention across community populations.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Full driving licence may be required depending on assigned area.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary aligned with the HSE Staff Nurse (General) pay scale in accordance with February 2026 consolidated public sector pay scales.
