The Senior Community Facilitator Roscommon role with Corlann Disability Services offers an exciting opportunity to support individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful, community-based outcomes. This permanent part-time position is based initially in Roscommon Town and plays a key leadership role within disability services.
Job Overview
As a Senior Community Facilitator, you will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services to individuals attending Corlann Disability Services. You will guide and supervise programmes, promote independence and inclusion, and contribute to a positive and empowering environment for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with disabilities in achieving personal and developmental goals
- Facilitate structured programmes that promote independence and life skills
- Supervise and guide support staff within day and community services
- Ensure a person-centred approach is embedded in all service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational standards
- Promote community integration and participation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in social care, disability studies, or a related field
- Experience working in disability or community-based services
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of person-centred planning approaches
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to upholding best practice standards in disability services
