Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a skilled and motivated Radiographer Dublin candidate to join its dynamic imaging team in Dublin South. This is a permanent wholetime opportunity within a leading paediatric healthcare setting, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services that support exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing safe, accurate and timely radiographic services while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography examinations in accordance with departmental protocols.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to the highest professional standards.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and quality assurance procedures.
- Participate in service development, clinical audit, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Support training and supervision of junior staff and students where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration with CORU as a Radiographer (or eligibility for registration).
- Demonstrated experience in diagnostic imaging practice.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a paediatric healthcare environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.

This Radiographer Dublin role is based with Children’s Health Ireland in Dublin South, operating within the HSE Dublin and South East health region. Children’s Health Ireland is a publicly funded healthcare organisation providing specialist paediatric services across Ireland.
This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. Please note that while the role is publicly funded, the employment contract is with Children’s Health Ireland and terms and conditions may differ from direct HSE employment.
