This Staff Nurse Limerick role offers an excellent opportunity to join a well-established 80-bed nursing home in a highly desirable location with easy access to Limerick City. You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a professional and compassionate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, support, and delegate duties to care staff as required
- Ensure all residents are treated with dignity, privacy, and respect at all times
- Deliver person-centred nursing care tailored to individual needs
- Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and visitors
- Provide emotional support, including to families and the bereaved
- Ensure adherence to all nursing home policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Eligibility to live and work in Ireland (EU or UK passport required)
- Active NMBI registration (PIN required)
- Recognised nursing qualification
- Previous experience in elderly care desirable
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary: €38,000 – €45,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week (permanent contract)
