The Respiratory Physiologist Staff Grade role at Connolly Hospital offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-quality diagnostic service within a dynamic healthcare environment. This position focuses on delivering advanced sleep diagnostic testing and lung function assessments, supporting clinicians with accurate and timely reports. Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive lung function tests and sleep diagnostic studies
- Analyse and report on respiratory and sleep data to support clinical decision-making
- Monitor and evaluate the progression of respiratory diseases
- Assist in pre-operative respiratory risk assessments
- Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy
- Deliver high-quality, timely diagnostic reports to clinicians
- Participate in service improvement and modernisation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best international practices and local policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Clinical Measurement Physiology or equivalent
- Experience in respiratory physiology and sleep diagnostics desirable
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care focus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Registration with the appropriate professional body (if applicable)
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €44,776 – €66,048 (including Long Service Increments)
Permanent Wholetime position
