An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Dental Surgeon – General within HSE West and North West, serving the Sligo/Leitrim region. This permanent wholetime role offers the chance to deliver high-quality dental care within a public health setting, supporting communities across multiple counties. Key Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of general dental services to patients in line with HSE standards
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions using evidence-based practices
- Promote oral health and preventative care within the community
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and safety standards
- Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised dental qualification and registration with the Dental Council of Ireland
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in dental services (public or private)
- Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €74,821 – €108,463 (dependent on experience and incremental progression)
