Job Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist specialising in Adult and Older Persons services across Dublin North. This role offers the chance to work within multidisciplinary community teams, delivering high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention for adults and older persons
- Develop and implement individualised care and rehabilitation plans
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across community services
- Support service users in maintaining independence and quality of life
- Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapy staff and students
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with CORU (or eligibility to register)
- Significant post-qualification clinical experience, including experience with adult and older persons services
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale: €64,551 – €76,007 per annum (based on experience and point on scale)
Multiple contract types available including permanent, specified purpose, part-time and whole-time roles.

These roles are based within community services across Dublin North, including locations such as Omni Shopping Centre, Clontarf, Navan Road, Ballymun, Kilbarrack, and Phoenix Park.
