Job Overview
Corlann Disability Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join its multidisciplinary team supporting individuals with disabilities across Roscommon. This permanent, full-time and pensionable role offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in community-based settings while contributing to meaningful outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care to individuals with disabilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans in line with best practice standards
- Support service users in achieving maximum independence and quality of life
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for service users
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration on the NMBI register
- Experience working in disability services or community care (desirable)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to delivering high standards of care and safeguarding
- Flexibility to work across multiple locations if required
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €37,788 to €56,032 (including LSI), depending on experience and incremental progression. This is a permanent, full-time, pensionable position. Benefits may include annual leave entitlement, pension scheme, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

This role is based across Corlann Disability Services locations in Strokestown, Elphin, Tulsk, Ballinagare, and Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon.
