The National Ambulance Service (NAS) is seeking experienced and driven professionals for the role of Operations Resource Manager. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing operational service delivery across emergency, urgent, and intermediate care services. Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership within the National Ambulance Service
- Manage and optimise resource allocation across designated operational areas
- Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and service delivery
- Lead, support, and develop multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations
- Monitor performance metrics and implement service improvements
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders across HSE regions
- Support the implementation of national policies and service initiatives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and clinical standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in healthcare management, clinical services, or related field
- Significant experience in healthcare operations or emergency services management
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Proven ability to manage complex service delivery environments
- Understanding of HSE structures, policies, and clinical governance frameworks
- Eligibility to work in Ireland and meet HSE recruitment requirements
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €60,613 – €78,795 (dependent on experience and applicable increments)
Employment Types: Permanent Whole-time, Permanent Part-time, Specified Purpose (Full-time & Part-time)
Working Arrangements: Blended working options may be available in line with HSE policy

Location & Employer Information
This role is based within the National Ambulance Service (NAS), with positions currently available in the HSE West and North West operational area, including Carrick-on-Shannon, Sligo/Ballyshannon, Roscommon, and Castlebar. Additional vacancies may arise nationally across regions such as Dublin, Midlands, South East, South West, and Mid-West.
