Job Overview

The National Ambulance Service (NAS) is seeking experienced and driven professionals for the role of Operations Resource Manager. Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant third-level qualification in healthcare management, clinical services, or related field
  • Significant experience in healthcare operations or emergency services management
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proven ability to manage complex service delivery environments
  • Understanding of HSE structures, policies, and clinical governance frameworks
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland and meet HSE recruitment requirements

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary Scale: €60,613 – €78,795 (dependent on experience and applicable increments)
Employment Types: Permanent Whole-time, Permanent Part-time, Specified Purpose (Full-time & Part-time)
Working Arrangements: Blended working options may be available in line with HSE policy

Location & Employer Information

This role is based within the National Ambulance Service (NAS), with positions currently available in the HSE West and North West operational area, including Carrick-on-Shannon, Sligo/Ballyshannon, Roscommon, and Castlebar. Additional vacancies may arise nationally across regions such as Dublin, Midlands, South East, South West, and Mid-West.

The National Ambulance Service operates across six key HSE regions, delivering critical emergency and urgent care services nationwide. This role plays a vital part in ensuring efficient, responsive, and high-quality ambulance services.
