Saint John of God Community Services is seeking a dedicated Programme Supervisor for its Day Services in Dublin South West. Job Overview
This permanent, full-time Programme Supervisor position is based within the Liffey Services of Saint John of God Community Services. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred day service programmes, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving independence, inclusion, and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day service programmes tailored to individual needs
- Support individuals with intellectual disabilities in achieving personal and social goals
- Supervise and guide staff to ensure high standards of care and service delivery
- Promote community integration and participation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies
- Develop and implement person-centred plans
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to service development initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in social care, healthcare, or a related discipline
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of person-centred planning and community-based services
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to promoting inclusion, dignity, and respect
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary scale ranges from €41,021 to €55,252, aligned with the Workshop Supervisor / Instructor – Senior (Grade 6402). This is a permanent wholetime position offering job security, structured pay progression, and opportunities for professional development within a well-established organisation.
