The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator – Grade IV role with Children’s Health Ireland offers a unique opportunity to support digital learning and training within a major healthcare programme. Based in Dublin, this position plays a key role in managing and optimising LMS systems within the EHR Programme Office, contributing to improved staff training and patient care outcomes.

Job Overview

As an LMS Administrator, you will be responsible for the effective administration, maintenance, and support of learning management systems used across Children’s Health Ireland. This role is ideal for candidates with strong ICT and administrative experience who are interested in supporting large-scale healthcare transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System to ensure optimal performance
  • Support users with system access, troubleshooting, and technical queries
  • Manage course creation, updates, and learner data within the LMS
  • Generate reports and analytics to support training and compliance tracking
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support training initiatives
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the LMS platform
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant administrative or ICT experience, ideally within a healthcare or public sector environment
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems or similar platforms
  • Excellent organisational and data management skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support end users
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

This is a specified purpose wholetime position. Salary is aligned with Grade IV public sector pay scales. Additional benefits may include annual leave, pension entitlements, and opportunities for professional development. Working hours will follow standard public sector arrangements.

This role is based at the EHR Programme Office, Herberton, St James’s Walk, Rialto, Dublin 8. Children’s Health Ireland is a leading publicly funded healthcare organisation delivering paediatric services across Ireland. Working within the EHR Programme Office provides exposure to large-scale digital transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and operational efficiency.
