Job Overview

The Staff Nurse will work within the Local Injury Unit at St. Luke’s General Hospital, providing assessment, treatment, and nursing care for patients presenting with minor injuries and urgent care needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care within the Local Injury Unit setting

  • Registered General Nurse qualification with active Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration

  • Ability to work effectively in a busy acute hospital environment
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and professional standards
  • A postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine is desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary will be aligned with HSE Staff Nurse Grade 2135 pay scales and public sector employment terms. This is a Permanent Whole-Time position offering access to HSE benefits, including annual leave entitlements, pension scheme participation, and ongoing professional training opportunities.

Working hours will be roster-based in line with Local Injury Unit operational requirements.
